I'm new here and I will definitely do this one. We already have a couple of target games but I'm sure another will be welcomed.

I cut an an old twister mat in two and I wrote scores into the various circles, and we use that as a target.

I made this up with my trusty overlocker...so easy!! I actually made three bags per colour. But with each bag I made an insert one that goes inside the coloured one..the residents helped to fill them. This makes them more sturdy and will last longer. Instead of a backing, I'm going to use some of that non-slip plastic you can buy, to save it from moving around. Can't wait to try it out with the residents.

Hi Sherry Ann, that's a great game.Mind stimulation is the objective and as you noticed; regardless of the simplicity of the game, participants are engaged in making decisions, which is what it is all about. Thank you for sharing.

My residents love playing a similar game with beanbags. I have three different size buckets. The biggest is worth 1 point (which is written on the bucket), the second biggest is worth two, and the smallest is worth three. Residents toss the bean bags into the buckets and get points based on where it lands. It is interesting to see whether residents go for the big bucket for an easy point, or whether they decide to take a risk and take a chance at the more difficult 3 point bucket.
