We have one member that loves to color and paint. I saved this idea last year abd put a reminder in my calendar to start coloring in October. It turned out so much better than I ever imagined. We laminated the pieces to be able to use it for many years to come. Awesome idea!
Wow Bonnie that turned out great good job have a very happy holiday
We used the plain triangles and made our own patterns of round, ball ornaments. I told each to paint them however they wanted and didn't tell them what it is going to be. Lot's speculated that it would be a large piece of pepperoni pizza ;-)
They absolutely loved the end result
We have just done ours in our home and it looks amazing up on display.
My residents are asking if there are any other ones they could do like a snowman etc?
Please let me know if there is as this is great.

This looks great. We are going to give it a go. Will let you know how we go.
Hi Catherine
Great idea thank you for sharing it
i think would also be great to make large A3 sized Carboard Triangle Cutouts and follow the same idea, and buy wrapping paper/sticking tape and get the residents to wrap the triangles, putting all the beautiful patterns together as a large tree in the end.
I love that idea Catherine! That's a really nice alternative. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
