Hello, Has anyone ever heard of a "roving" resident council? The MDS 3.0 Care Plan Cookbook references one under the approaches section for Isolation Medically Necessary (page 96). We are a small facility, and the residents aren't really interested in the Resident Council. "Roving" might solve the problem, but I'm not sure exactly what it is, or if it's even allowed.
Hi Maria, I am afraid I have never heard the term. It could mean that it is movable or ambulant; still, I could not explain how it would work. I'll let you know if I find out.
I am starting my 2nd day as a Life Enrichment Coordinator and am loving it. I subscribed to your site to learn more about the assisted living world. I am loving the hands-on ideas and thoughtful articles. Thank you!!
