Hi Patti

I do not know how strict your facility is being in terms of how many people can visit if any of the residents can gather in small groups or if they have to more or less stay in their rooms

You can make copies of these poems and mail them to family members so they can read them to their grandparents on a phone call

You could have a teleconference call there are many free once you can use

You can distribute this word search

Or make your own

You may modify these activities to make them grandparents day activities

You may want to do some virtual groups such as those on zoom or create your own Facebook group

You can call family members to remind them to send cards to their loved one for grandparents day

As I said before a teleconference would be a good way to include a lot of people as long as the residents have telephones and know how to use them

You can plan a grandparents day party but do it over the phone
