hello everyone,
i was hoping for some inspiration on how everyone will be celebrating mothersday in the uk during lockdown with the residents , as its difficult as you all know with most areas with not having visitors so i was hoping to do something special on the run up to mothersday to show them their families still care even tho they are not visiting as often as they did.

Hi Nadine, we have got in touch with a local nursery school and they are getting the kids to paint cards for the residents. They did it for us at Christmas too and the residents loved it!

I like the idea of getting in touch with nursery schools and other schools because the children may want to make cards of some type even if they are at home

that sounds a great idea , we had a local nursey and school all ready to visit us last year then lockdown happened, but they did stay in contact with us and sent us cards and pictures for the residents.
