I am starting a garden club at our senior community and am seeking assistance on setting up structure and bylaws and whatever else we need to get started right. Thanks for your help.
Hi Ken This is very nice of you I hope you saw the article that I put in your last post https://www.goldencarers.com/how-to-start-a-garden-club-for-seniors/4314/ As far as bylaws go you need to ask the facility what their bylaws are The best bet is to do a raised garden because most seniors cannot bend over and work from the ground Perhaps someone in the maintenance department can help you make them
I am overwhelmed with the activities on this site, truly amazing. This website has been tremendously amazing and helpful for all my residents on the dementia unit. I have worked in the field of dementia and Alzheimer’s in a long term care home for 30 years. This website is a blessing from above. You are all amazing for the future of care givers and residents.
