I'm a new Diversional Therapy Coordinator and am looking ahead for Christmas present ideas for our residents. Obviously something small but am hoping for something a little bit more exciting than a small box of chocolates. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi Trudy
I have purchased small photo albums for this Christmas for each resident and we have been filling them up with photos of everything they have been doing over the year. A great reminiscing tool for the resident and a cherished memory for their family. A cost effective present with lasting value.

Xmas Gift Idea: One year we had a Santa come in to our facility early Dec and took photos of Santa with each resident and had them put onto calenders.

We the (staff) of our unit are purchasing a little coffee machine for our residents to start their own café. With supervision of course.
