I support 22 AL and Memory Care Communities. My request my seem very simple but I just have so much on my plate. Does anyone have a program description or policy for residents rolling silverware and assisting with setting the table?
I greatly appreciate any and all as there is just not enough time in my days right now and we are opening 2 new communities over the next 2 months. :)

I don’t have a specific answer, but contact the assisted living association of Michigan babe I have the latest information
In the meantime, error on the side of caution. Have residents wear gloves Maybe they can set their own place
Handle it like any intention control issue
Similar to a cooking activity

Hi Wendy we use the Montessori approach. Our participants help set the tables but of course wash hands and use gloves.
