I was just wondering. Who is supposed to bring the residents down to programs provided by the activity department. I thought that the Aides assisted in transport to and from, but I may be wrong.... Am I?

Hi Erika

In Theory the aides are supposed to help bring residents to an activity

In practice the activity staff usually transported the residents to the activity

I often had Meetings with the aides and told them the advantages to them helping bring residents to an activity

If you are interested in my strategies, let me know

We usually got many residents to activities

Your site is easy to use, I use it more often than the one our consultant has set up! I use so many of your ideas and love the Facebook page where everyone shares ideas, concerns and triumphs! I feel connected to a big wonderful caring society! I am always telling my co-workers how awesome Golden Carers is. I feel it is more in touch with the needs of my residents than many of the other Recreational Therapy sites.
