I like this idea of various tools, and could add to this with items from our home toolbox to add to the program.
In past years, I created a program of "hammers" . Where they originated from, and several types. I placed them on my activity cart, and displayed to each of the Residents. Everything from Fire hammers (break into buildings on fire) ; Railroad hammers; to small Tin - Bashing hammers. It sparked a great amount of discussion and reminisce about former jobs. And my manager was impressed with ingenuity and creativity.
Help! I’m struggling to find the instructions and print out for a matching game, it was fruit, veg, and pics of a doctor, overalls, briefcase and similar. Tried using search but not finding it and can’t remember what it was under. Any help much appreciated, thanks Amanda
I'm thrilled that I discovered this marvellous site. It has become my "bible" for ideas, information and creativity. My clients absolutely love the activities I've picked up from Golden Carers. Thank you.
