Thank you all, I found 2 lots from “Box and Dice” but 1 disk out of each will not work in anything that we have, I am sure they will replace them, but thank you for all your help. I knew I could get help from this sight, it’s great to have it.

I have found quite a few of them with Box and Dice, they are wonderfull, quick to deliver and also rang me to tell me they will combine the postage for all I bought.

We had a rememberance day for all the past resident in the last 12 months, we had a candle for each of them, from the last 12 months and a family member could come and light the candle or switch the candle on. A minister came to say a few words, then we had an afternoon tea.

Hand massage is always a great activity for her and the smell of all these different hand creams or add her favourite aroma therapy drops, if offered every day it is something for her to look forward to.

Hi everyone, I am a member and an activity coordinator at a 45 bed facility in Victoria. I would like to have an activity with the theme of Labor Day, what is everyone’s thoughts! All I can come up with is some protest signs to have an 8 hour working day, 8 hour rest and 8 hour sleep signs posted around the facility.

Paper leaves fall decoration

last year I cut the leaves out of colour paper, made a nice pattern with them, then laminated them to make place mats for every resident. Everyone loved them and made a fuss about how nice they were.

I have ordered from Avon, a shower gel for my residents male and females perfume, Avon has a few to choose from and you can also get low alergy ones. This is a gift that they all enjoy and love I have ordered 2 for 1 price this time. We also put them in a small xmas bag, to save the residents trying to open the sticky tape.
