Mulitcultural Songs

We used this list for our music and memory group and it was a great success lots of singing and Reminicising a great session we are doing part 2 next week as didn't get through all the countries

Balloon Tennis

We use table tennis net and bats and use balloons great fun and enables all levels to participate including wheelchair/tub chair/stroke residents who only have use of one hand including those who can stand and are quite mobile, many think they are back playing tennis again

We held a pj day on 1st of sept for start of spring and had all staff and residents in pjs join in dining room for. Cooked breakfast residents loved it

We are in process of setting this up, I'm going to start with 3 residents who are independent and some with walkers for support and 1 staff and if we increase I'll have 2 staff for 6 which will be my cut off point
