Hi, That sounds like a great idea. In the mean time, we use a great website called postcrossing that is all about postcards. I shared the idea on here so you should be able to search it. Since we started in March/April we have recieved and sent over 35 postcards all over the world!
Here is an idea of what we have done with our postcards (since we have too many for our pin board) We have also made the folder pretty by using photocopies of all the stamps and gluing them to the front, and then putting glue over the top.
There is also a great community of people that enjoy hiding and finding painted rocks. We painted some rocks, sealed them with a spray sealant and then hid them for local children to find!
This is what we do with one of our whiteboards using the monthly facts and games sheets from this website. We have many whiteboards littered throughout our centre and love using them so thanks for the ideas!
We have done something similar. We stuck each cake to the wall then used Velcro tabs to stick the names to each cake so that they can be removed if necessary. Sorry for the horrible photo.
Golden Carers has researched articles on dementia activities, men’s activities, dealing with challenging behaviour, and more. Thank you for a great web site. Professional! Informative! Well researched! Innovative!
