Hi, I use the essential oils, but sprinkle a little on the curtains so when the wind blows, the scent comes in with it. Alternatively, you could make little sachets to hang and sprinkle it there.

Hi Mary, I have tried seated yoga, with my people. They loved it. You could also try having seats in a circle and getting your residents to kick or punch a beach ball to each other. That one is often a lot of fun. Hope this helps. Janelle.

Hi Allison, Yes, just recently we "walked" to our Cairns facility from our Brisbane facility. Our physio dpt worked out how many steps and each week we had a destination, eg, Bunderburg, Rockhampton. We did an armchair travel each week and had some reminiscing about the places residents have holidayed in the past. I found the library to be a gr8 recourse for dvd's.
