About Del:
Del Marie McAlister’s extensive experience includes being the chaplain of Ballina District Hospital (NSW) and at an aged care facility in NSW, and as a suicide bereavement responder with the Standby Program. She is aptly qualified in the fields of grief counselling, life coaching, aged care, and chaplaincy.
Del is not only a grief counsellor, but also a funeral celebrant, freelance journalist, author, an accredited disaster response chaplain, and the local representative for Push for Palliative.
Del works part time as a recreational activities officer in an aged care facility and in her spare time speaks at conferences, presents seminars, promotes her books, offers chaplaincy, coaching and counselling services, and runs a local grief support group.
