Get family to bring in old objects from home antique say washing board what soap they used to wash clothes churn for making butter how they made it old leather suitcase when they left for work how much they got in first job you could do PowerPoint presentation also pics of old impliments I am Irish so I used following examples

Hi just wondering if anyone has ideas on health and wellbeing for staff as I am going on committee soon to imply it in our workplace any ideas welcome

I bring in old impliments like churn that makes butter washing board old iron suitcase an old leather one clay pipe baker pot great to get a discussion going what they used them for how you worked them etc I am from Ireland but whatever country use old stuff or pictures on PowerPoint if you can't get a hold on any also if you use a large picture put it in centre of room discuss what season it is what are they doing colours in pic etc

Hi everyone , i am getting a post as a activity co ordinator have been doing activities for the last 20 years but as a multitask attendant ,doing other duties like running a daycentre also but they have recognised all the gd work i have been doing and asked me to set up a activity programme in another nursing home tried it one day but it was tiring doing it all day trying to keep them going but afterwards matron said if i showed other staff the benifits of activities and set up a programme and visit what ever time suits me looking for ideas on a timetable or programme working for same healthboard but theynwant me to expand to another nursing home say one day a week or a few hours on a given day wd appreciate help to get started
