Icare Advice. Hi all, Im wanting to have a quick chat with anyone who uses Icare and Activity charting for daily documentation. We received advice from an Accreditation consultant to link up the Activities charting to a progress note. The only issue now, its that the progress notes are being clogged up with the activities charting and clinical staff are unable to see if a resident have had a formal progress note done on them on the last 7 days due to having to scroll thru all of the activities charting posts. Is there any way, you can do one bulk activities chart with the numerous activities they did during the day so it generates one progress note per day?
Hi all, for those of you who use Icare, what kind of information are you entering into 'my daily routine' on the resident's profile? Does anyone have a template questionnaire for this? I've tried googling.. I figure its questions like when do you prefer meal times, what time do you prefer your showers ect. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Supermarket Shopping activity- Hi all, Im from Queensland, Australia and Im wanting to set up some type of shop with fake foods and boxes ect. They would be free to browse around an grab items for their baskets, chat between themselves and then leave via a cash register. Has anyone done anything like this? Ive seen places in the Neverlands do this, but cant find more information such as pro's and con's for this activity. Looking forward to feedback and advice :)
With the Corona Virus restrictions easing, we are now allowed to take residents on outings in Qld Australia. I have many question on this! Do we social distance on the bus? Do we only go to outdoor places? Is there a capped number if we go to an indoor venue? I cant seem to find any further info other than 'Residents are now allowed to go on outings'
Hi all, Im wondering if there as any Aussies on here who have completed a Self Assessment in accordance with the new Standards that came out last year in preparation for an Accreditation visit?
Have any of you had to submit a self assessment against these new standards in preparation for an up coming Accreditation visit? I'm struggling with this..
We only need the residents permission for outside display ie Social media, newspapers ect. And as for the children, the daycare is responsible for getting appropriate approval off parents.
I would like to congratulate Golden Carers for being an invaluable tool in enabling me to provide my Dementia clients with a wide range of appropriate activities.
Great value for money, I would recommend you to anyone working in this field. A big thank you!!!
