Hi Juanita, Our volunteers also go through a background check. They have to go through orientation and training. When they come to our building once they are buzzed in they electronically sign in on our kiosk in the front and have to sign out. They are assigned a number once approved. The volunteers once their application is approved are assigned a ID #.and a badge with their picture on it they wear. All their information is kept in a data base which goes to our HR dept.
I love the Golden carers website. I get so many ideas and love being able to print off the various activity work sheets. I look forward every month to see what is on the calendar. It is so helpful in planning my monthly calendar. I will definitely renew my membership when it's due. Thank you , for all the wonderful games and information. Please keep up the good work. I am the Activity Director for a Care center in Livonia, Michigan. A facility for retired nuns. All your activity information and games are done in good taste.
I’m loving your website, it’s been a great help to me over the last six months since I started my new role. Lots of hints and tips, great activities, and it’s great that we can contribute too. It’s fantastic to have such a universal source of information, how we have a common goal and language despite our worldwide locations. Thank you!
