Hi Karen! such a great idea, reading recipes! residents will love it as is an opportunity to recall cooking memories, even if they were not a great cooks or perhaps they were excellent cooks , they share tips and methods of cooking. Good luck!! maybe you can be able to show some of the old and new utensils , and talk about the equipment, some photos/ short cooking videos might help to show them. :) Love this activity
Hello Ros, hope you found prompts already for your clients, where I work the occupational/ physiotherapist provide the signs.. in a set of small cards,(like key ring kind of thing) or A4 size signs to place them on a wall or where resident will see it.. Regards Rosa
hangman and words in words are great ideas!!! I usually use them, is a lot of fun!!! and give opportunity to everyone, especially during hangman, as each participant get the opportunity to say a letter, even if the cognitively is not there a 100%, thank you for posting such a great help this website. Regards Rosa
I am absolutely thrilled to have found this site. My colleagues and I use the resources daily. I would be lost without it! Congratulations on building a site that just keeps on giving!
