i read On This Day every morning to our residents.
Any piece of history that I know our residents would be really interested in, I do more research on it. We have had some wonderful conversations, even trying to remember what we were doing or where we were when. a particular event happened.

we do exercises to" Macarena" but change words to Oh Matariki that can be found on you tube.
We celebrate with Maori language, Kai {Food) and Waiata (Music) We also learn more about the stars, planting by the moon. Maori dance, Adult colouring Maori pictures. Outings to a Marae. It is a great time in NZ to learn more of the maori culture.
