I am so pleased to read about Colouring in and its benefits. I have for so long kept it out of my program on the basis that I felt it was childish. However, I now have a totally different outlook thanks to your article and I will incorporate this activity and place considerably more importance in its place in the monthly program.
Hi Kymberly. I think you will find most of the equipment you need for the games in the toy section of K Mart. I know they will have the marbels and games such as dominoes etc. Our local Reject shop has packets of coloured jacks as I was looking at them this afternoon.
That is awesome. Quizzes are our most popular activity at our respite centre and I am always looking for a new way to use them. Mintyaire is a great idea. Thanks Cheryl-ann
I saw this activity whilst on a cruise last year and it was hilarious. You need the person running the activity to have a really good sense of fun to make it work but it is well recommended.
I think this site is one of the most amazing sites for Diversional Therapists. We all need new ideas. Thank you so much for setting it up. Christina Bundaberg
I would like to congratulate Golden Carers for being an invaluable tool in enabling me to provide my Dementia clients with a wide range of appropriate activities.
Great value for money, I would recommend you to anyone working in this field. A big thank you!!!
